Introduction
Updated June 2005 (see Pink Granite Coast section)
For the past few years we have gone to Brittany for our annual family holiday. There is plenty of climbing in Brittany, which is well documented elsewhere, but this section of the website describes one or two of the esoteric bouldering areas that I have stumbled across on our recent holiday visits. These areas are not substantial climbing venues by any means but if you find yourself in these locations with a few hours to spare then the information provided here may be helpful to you. As some climbers may have the needs of their family to consider I have also included other useful information, for example regarding the location of suitable family beaches.
I would welcome any feedback from climbers who use these pages and can provide any comments on the problems/grades listed or who may have come across other areas of interest to the boulderer.
A special thanks goes to my wife, Karen, who diligently took most of the bouldering pictures.
The bouldering information is divided into various sections and is listed under Contents on the left hand side of this page. Please note that further information regarding bouldering at Port Blanc (Quiberon) will be added to this site at a later date.
